How long does the process take?
From the time an order is placed and the deposit is received, the typical timeframe is about two months (6–8 weeks). Timing can vary slightly depending on structure size and delivery location. Final scheduling is confirmed before delivery.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes. A 5% down payment is required to reserve and initiate the order. The remaining balance is handled according to the terms outlined on your invoice.
What is included in the price?
The price reflects the steel structure itself. Site preparation, foundations, utilities, interior build-outs, permits, or approvals are not included unless specifically stated in writing.
Is delivery included?
For most locations, delivery is included. If the delivery location is unusually far or requires special arrangements, delivery details will be discussed and confirmed ahead of time so there are no surprises.
What kind of foundation is required?
A concrete pad is recommended, but a properly compacted gravel pad is also commonly used. The buyer is responsible for site preparation and choosing the foundation type.
Do you manufacture these structures yourself?
No. I do not manufacture the structures myself. The units are manufactured overseas and shipped to the U.S. I handle the entire process from beginning to end, including ordering, coordination, tracking, and delivery logistics.
Will I receive updates during the process?
Yes. I stay involved throughout the entire process and provide updates, photos, and videos during the build and preparation stages, so you can see the progress of your structure before it’s ready for delivery.
Does this come with permits?
No. Pack It Up Pads does not provide permits. Buyers should check directly with their city or county before placing the structure.
Can I place it on my property without a permit?
That depends on where you live. Some areas allow certain structures without permits, while others require approval. The best way to know is to contact your local city or county office.
Can I live in it or rent it out?
How the structure is ultimately used, including adding utilities or renting it out, is up to the buyer and should be confirmed with their local city or county.
What are these structures sold as?
They are sold as storage sheds and personal-use steel structures.
What should I do when my structure is delivered?
Buyers should inspect the structure upon delivery and report any issues within 10 days. This inspection period allows time to identify any concerns.
What if there is an issue with the structure?
If a significant structural issue is identified, I will work with you to repair, replace affected components, or provide another reasonable remedy before any return or refund is considered.
Can I return the structure if I change my mind?
No. Returns are not accepted for buyer’s remorse or preference changes. Returns are considered only for major structural issues that cannot be reasonably remedied and must be approved in writing.
Who is responsible for permits and placement?
Placement, permits, and use are the buyer’s responsibility.
